We made Sizzling Snack Street because most of us carry a memory of street-food stalls: a sausage on the way home from school, skewers fresh out of the fryer at the night market, iced jelly shared with friends while walking, and the stall owner working away with practiced hands.
We wanted to put that familiar, lively atmosphere into a game you can run at your own pace. There is no rush to learn every rule. Start by looking after your first customer, then watch a lamp, a signboard and a new shop slowly light up the whole street.
